Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the restaurant staff during assigned shifts - Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures - Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints - Assist with food preparation and ensure food quality and presentation standards are met - Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate cash register operations - Train new employees on job duties, safety protocols, and customer service standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms - Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving restaurant performance Experience: - Previous experience in the food service industry or a similar role is preferred - Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment - Knowledge of kitchen management procedures is desirable - A passion for providing exceptional customer service We offer competitive pay rates based on experience and performance.
